ABOUT THe AUBURN PIPELINE
The Auburn Pipeline, owned and operated by a subsidiary of UGI Energy Services since 2010, is a federally-regulated 46-mile pipeline that contains a mix of 12-inch, 20-inch and 24-inch pipe, 4 compressor stations totaling over 32,000 horsepower of compression and related facilities in Susquehanna, Wyoming and Luzerne Counties, Pennsylvania. The Auburn Pipeline interconnects to other pipelines including Tennessee Gas Pipeline and Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line as well as local gathering systems and local natural gas distribution facilities of UGI Utilities. Auburn Pipeline delivers low-cost Marcellus natural gas to growing markets in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Auburn Pipeline’s interconnections with both the Tennessee Pipeline and the Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line provide for unprecedented flexibility to shippers in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Shippers have the capability of flowing over 280,000 Dth/d of natural gas between the two interstate pipelines.
